Social Skill Groups
Creative Interventions, LLC will be offering Social Skills groups for children on the Autism Spectrum. The Winter groups will run each Saturday from January 7 - February25. This program is designed for children who are non-aggressive:
Persons on the autism spectrum are often unable to have meaningful personal, social, and work lives due to their social deficits. Social skills training using both behavioral and relationship principles can help children on the autism spectrum to learn to develop meaningful relationships that allow them to participate more fully at home at school and in the community
Interested in having your child socially interact with their peers?
This program is seeking children on the Autism Spectrum ages 3 to 12.

Learning
Relatedness
Ages 3-13 will be held on Saturday’s at our main office:
Times of group are subject to change based on enrollment
Ages 3-4 9am-10am
Ages 5-6 9:15am-10:15am
Ages 7-10 10:15-11:15
Ages 11-13 11am-12pm

Teen Social Skill Groups
The Teen Social Skills groups will be held in our East Granby office Tuesday and Thursday evenings January 3 - February 21.
This program is seeking children on the Autism Spectrum ages 13 to 17
TARGETED SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Engaging in conversation with peers
- Referencing peers for information
- Developing cognitive flexibility
- Accepting changes, variations, imperfection and loss
- Sharing emotions with peers
- Managing own emotions
- Understanding teen development (e.g. Bullies, friendship circles, sexuality etc)
- Understanding another person’s perspective
- Active participation in group development

These groups are held in our East Granby office on Saturday mornings.
